THE PROMISE

Ravens are fond of shiny things...so much so, that they might steal them if the chance be taken.

They also mate for life, so finding a shiny ring to give to the mate-to-be is the subject of this painting.

It was a commission I painted for an adorable couple who experienced Ravens overhead as they became

engaged.  I'm hoping it is an omen of a long and wonderful union between two hearts in love.
